Matthew's family chose three causes that shaped his story. Giving directly to them is the surest way to honor him.
Direct giving
Each link below goes straight to the organization — your gift is tax-deductible to the extent the law allows, and you'll receive a receipt directly from them. When you give, add "In memory of Matthew Knight" so the family is notified.

Duke University's fund for brain tumor research and patient support. Gifts here directly fight glioblastoma.
The hospice and palliative care team that surrounded Matthew and our family with extraordinary compassion.
Other ways to help
Matthew's generosity rarely came with a receipt. Here are ways to honor him that cost nothing but heart:
Deliver a route. Volunteer with Meals on Wheels in your community — Matthew did, for years.
Send the card. He never missed a birthday. Pick someone this week and remember theirs.
Wear gray in May. May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month. Wear gray, share the facts about glioblastoma, and tell people why.
Play a round for him. Next time you're on the course, take the extra mulligan and think of Squeaky.
Transparency
Team Squeaky is a family-led memorial initiative. Donation links on this site go directly to established 501(c)(3) organizations, so your gift is deductible and receipted by them. Tournament entry fees and sponsorships fund the event, with all net proceeds donated to the three funds above — we'll publish the totals after each event. If Team Squeaky becomes a nonprofit foundation of its own, we'll announce it right here.
